Gwyneth Paltrow peddles Goop anal sex toy — as Father’s Day gift
Gwyneth Paltrow once said that she’d “rather die” than let her kids eat Cup-a-Soup, but it looks like she has no hesitations about a Father’s Day sex toy.
In a new gift guide for Father’s Day posted on her infamous wellness website, Goop, the health halcyon includes a $219 prostate vibrator for daddy dearest.
The sleek product, called “Hugo,” is made by the self-described “luxury sex toy” company Lelo.
The sexy-time plaything’s subtle description reads: “Yes, we did put a vibrator in this gift guide (it’s a hands-free toy for prostate stimulation).”
The perky product’s full details tout its “powerful vibrating motor” and “eight intensity settings,” as well as an “insertable head” that reportedly “delivers satisfying vibrations to the perineum” — you can look that one up — with help from a remote control and, apparently, a flick of the wrist.
Oh, and it’s thankfully, helpfully waterproof.
In the introduction for the gaudy gift guide, Goop editors explained that they wanted to “keep broadening the field” in their present suggestions.
“Father’s Day gift ideas often fall into familiar categories: beer, ball games, BBQs,” they wrote. “And we’re not saying you should take those options off the table — you might even double down with a fun new spin on one.”
The post continued, asking its readers, “But we also want to keep broadening the field. Who says Dad doesn’t need his own skin-care routine? That he won’t love the feeling of infrared heat, too? Or rock an Italian-knit sweater as chic as anything in your closet?”
The gift guide features a total of 71 potential products that you can buy for your dad or another male figure in your life, so when Sunday, June 18, rolls around, don’t forget to snag that $145 Regenerative Bison & Beef Bundle or the LYMA laser starter kit for the cheapo price of $2,700.
If you’re looking to take your family or even just your father on a nice getaway for the weekend, Goop has recommendations for those, too. The company suggests a vacation to the Six Senses Zighy Bay resort in Oman, from $1,595 per night, or even a trip to the Lodge at Blue Sky in Utah, where you can stay in a room that starts at $1,585 per night.
But don’t worry: If the father figure in your life isn’t a fan of a vibrator, a weekend trip or grooming products, you can also buy him a Rolex watch — the “Oyster Perpetual 41mm Model 124300 Green Index Dial” edition, to be precise — for the affordable price of $11,395.
The Post reached out to Goop and Paltrow’s representatives for further comment.
The “Iron Man” actress launched Goop in 2008, and it first started out as a weekly email newsletter, later growing into a full-blown empire.
This isn’t the first time that the Goop goddess has sparked some vibrations — whether good or bad, that’s up to you — on her well-being-focused website.
This past Valentine’s Day, Goop’s gift guide featured nearly 50 vibrators, as well as a sea salt and caramel water-based lube.
Paltrow also once gushed over the benefits of “vaginal eggs,” a rotund, insertable jade stone that she sold on the Goop website.
However, that later ended up in a lawsuit.
In 2018, she settled the suit for $145,000 after she was accused of making false promises about the eggs and another essential oil that was for sale on Goop, the latter marketed as a magical serum to help to prevent depression.
The self-care creative also made headlines earlier this year after she admitted that one of the craziest things she had ever done in the name of wellness was rectal ozone therapy — a gas that’s blasted up your butt for an alleged immune system boost, among other “benefits.”
“I have used ozone therapy, uh, rectally,” Paltrow admitted during a March appearance on Will Cole’s “The Art of Being Well” podcast.
“It’s pretty weird. But very — it’s been very helpful.”
The star is currently married to television writer Brad Falchuk.
