Halsey wants ‘sister’ Millie Bobby Brown to play them in a biopic
Halsey is already thinking of their dream cast if a movie version of their life were to be produced.
The “Badlands” singer, 27, revealed who during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” — Millie Bobby Brown!
“I know the answer,” Halsey — who uses she/they pronouns — said to host Jimmy Fallon when he asked the loaded question.
Fallon, 47, then brought up a picture of Halsey dressed up as Eleven, the character Brown plays in “Stranger Things.”
“I mean, yeah, Millie would be great,” the New Jersey native continued. “But I don’t really think I’m famous enough to cast Millie.”
They added, “It’s kind of uncanny how much we look alike. It’s like, ‘Oh no, we actually just look like sisters.’”
Halsey also recently appeared at Governors Ball Music Festival in NYC over the weekend, performing a rendition of Kate Bush’s 1985 hit, “Running Up That Hill.”
The ’80s hit has recently seen something of a comeback, soaring to chart-topping heights yet again since it was featured in the Season 4 premiere of “Stranger Things.”
After the show, the mother of one tweeted, “Truly wish I wrote this song more than anything in the world. I’m soooo happy it’s having this resurgence. I knew immediately I wanted to do this.”
The “Without Me” crooner also recently suffered an unfortunate mishap at their Maryland concert when their venue become flooded.
The June 8 show was at first delayed, but then ultimately canceled despite seas of drenched concertgoers waiting to watch the performance.
“There’s no way this Halsey Maryland show is real like WHAT,” one person tweeted at the time, posting a clip taken from the front row that showed the concert hall as water rained down and rats crawled onstage.
Another video featured a security guard kicking rodents into the water-logged area between the stage and audience members. Hoards of people wailed and screeched as the rats swam away.
