Halvor Granerud continues sensational form with brilliant ski jumping victory in Zakopane
Halvor Egner Granerud continued his sensational run of form to win yet another Ski Jumping World Cup event in Zakopane, Poland.
Granerud edged out leader Dawid Kubacki on home soil by 1.1 points to close the gap at the top of the overall standings to 114 points with 19 events to go.

It follows his comfortable victory at the Four Hills Tournament over the new year, with the Norwegian now winning four of the past five events.

Kubacki’s form himself has been remarkable, with the Olympic bronze medallist climbing the podium in nine consecutive events, dating back to November.
Austrian Stefan Kraft finished third, 8.1 points behind Kubacki, but importantly for him 3.4 points ahead of Anze Lanisek to close the gap in the overall standings.
