Hanna Oeberg ends season on high with second World Cup win, Julia Simon takes small globe

Mass start world champion Hanna Oeberg finished her season the way she started it, winning her second World Cup of the season in Oslo Holmenkollen.

The Swede dropped one shot in the 12.5km mass start, in her final round, and finished 22.6 seconds ahead of Norway’s Marte Olsbu Roeiseland, who also made just one error.

French biathlete Anais Chevalier-Bouchet picked up yet another bronze medal, her fifth of the season, missing three targets over the distance.

And despite finishing in fifth place, 56.6 seconds behind the leader, Julia Simon of France confirmed she would take the mass start small globe to go along with her pursuit and overall titles.

Topping the Under 25 charts was Oeberg’s younger sister Elvira Oeberg, while France took the Nations Cup for the first time since 1996.
