Harrie Lavreysen maintains 100% record, Katie Archibald keeps UCI Champions League lead in Berlin

Sprint world champion Harrie Lavreysen continued where he left off in Mallorca as, from the sprint heats to the keirin final, he produced five immaculate rides that no other rider could come close to matching. Last year’s champion Matthew Richardson has struggled to find the form that carried him to the overall title in 2022. The keirin saw Lavreysen cruise to victory in the final with Richardson blowing himself apart to snatch second and move up to second overall – albeit by a 22 point margin. The biggest number of the night was delivered by Mikhail Yakovlev, who pushed 2,156 watts to propel his 106kg to the 5th place in the same event.
