Hef’s ex-Playboy bunnies say ‘sex toy’ party didn’t make show
Hef’s Playboy Playmates and their adult playthings were almost deemed too hot for TV.
Exposing more explosive truths about their seemingly plushy lives as Hugh Hefner’s ladies in the early 2000s, “Girls Next Door” starlets Holly Madison, 42, and Bridget Marquardt, 48, revealed that E! initially canned their reality show’s pilot episode due to the “risqué” nature of a “sex toy” shindig.
“This party was actually a sex toy party,” Madison recalled during a recent episode of her and Marquardt’s podcast, “Girls Next Level.”
“This was more like a quaint Tupperware party, but it was still deemed too risqué for E!,” said Madison. “After the pilot was finished, they said, ‘We can never air this because we can’t show all these sex toys on the network.’ “
She went on to insist that the party’s X-rated novelties, such as lube and faux phalluses, were only for display and not for demonstration.
“We weren’t doing anything with them. Like I said, it was like a Tupperware party, or there would be like funny games with sex toys.”
The honey-haired hottie recalled hosting the saucy celebration at the Playboy Mansion — where she resided as one of Hef’s three main girlfriends, alongside Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, 37 — with Hefner’s permission.
However, when the late smut mag magnate, who died of sepsis in 2017 at 89, got a load of the sex goodies and gadgets being hawked in his house, he allegedly “dogged” Madison for orchestrating the tawdry scene.
“[Hefner] was like dogging me,” she remembered. “He came down to the sex toy party for a little bit and he gave me a really dirty look … That was annoying.”
And being the object of Hef’s ire was a predicament his live-in lovers feared most.
“When you live in a situation where you can get in trouble for anything, it feels like a lightning strike to your heart,” said Madison. “It just contributed to the whole walking-on-eggshells feeling that I always had.”
Never too shy to broach the subject of sex toys, however, Madison and Marquardt previously revealed that Hef’s “hoarder-style” bedroom featured a filthy collection of vibrators that were always strewn across his bed.
The ex-Bunnies also claimed that when the late porn peddler wanted to perform rather than use pleasure tools in the bed, he’d rely on baby oil as a sex lubricant — a practice Madison dubbed “disgusting.”
“I do not recommend this,” she urged. “It is an infection waiting to happen. It’s disgusting. I don’t know what his hang-up was with it.”
“It throws off your pH, so you’re constantly going to be like [having] yeast infections,” she continued.
The incensed blond belle recollected reporting the issue to her doctor.
“I remember talking to the gynecologist about it and then telling Hef, ‘You need to stop using baby oil. I can’t use it,’ and even telling him the gynecologist agreed with me, he would argue with me and be like, ‘Well people use baby oil on babies,’ ” said Madison.
“And I’m like, ‘Yeah, on their skin. Not internally. You’re not supposed to put it [inside the vagina],’ ” she added, claiming Hef continued using the substance without her knowledge.
She labeled his alleged habit “gross” and “non-consensual.”
The troubling anecdotes are the latest damning claims Madison and Marquardt, who said Hefner made them feel like “a piece of meat,” have made against the deceased tycoon.
