Here’s how to get affordable tickets to see “SIX The Musical”

Her-story is being made on Broadway. “SIX The Musical,” running at the Lena Horne Theatre, is as hot as ever.

The upbeat 80-minute musical follows the lives of Henry VII’s six wives and how they moved on — “divorced, beheaded, died…divorced, beheaded, survived.”

Over the course of the production, the Queens compete to determine who will be the lead singer of their band — winner is whomever was treated the worst by the King. The music in “SIX” is pop with a feminist tinge; for our money, the show feels more like a concert than theater.

Don’t lose your head — be smart and take advantage of the affordable, available ticket prices for “SIX” while you can.

At the time of publication, we found tickets going for as low as $78 before fees on Vivid Seats—not a bad price to catch a Tony-winning show live.

We’ve got everything you need to know and more about seeing “SIX” live on Broadway.

SIX” Broadway Schedule

Interestingly enough, “SIX” only runs five days a week.

As of now, audiences can catch the show eight times a week, Wednesday through Sunday at Broadway’s Lena Horne Theatre — there are no Monday or Sunday performances. Matinees are on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 3 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

“SIX” runs for 80 minutes with no intermission. The show is recommended for ages 10 and up; children under four-years-old will not be permitted.

About “SIX The Musical”

“SIX The Musical” transforms five years of heartbreak into a pop tour de force celebrating the wives’ right to feminist power.

Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, “SIX” won 23 awards in the 2021-22 Broadway season, including the Tony Award® for Best Original Score (Music and Lyrics) and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical.

In its first month, the “SIX: LIVE ON OPENING NIGHT” Broadway album ranked No. 1 on the Billboard cast album charts and exceeded six million streams.

“SIX The Musical” cast

The Broadway cast is predictably made up of “SIX” stars.

They are:

Hailee Kaleem Wright (Catherine of Aragon) may look familiar from IKEA, Samsung and T-Mobile commercials but it’s also possible you saw her in “Paradise Square” on Broadway.

Leandra Ellis-Gaston (Anne Boleyn) made her Broadway debut in “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” and toured with “Carole King: The Musical” before being cast in “Six.”

Bella Coppola (Jane Seymour) is making her Broadway debut with “Six.” Off-Broadway, she played Pat in “Kinky Boots” and has released a number of singles which are available on Spotify.

Nasia Thomas (Anna of Cleves) has three major Broadway credits under her belt: the revival of “Caroline, or Change,” “Ain’t Too Proud” and “Beautiful.” She’s also appeared in CBS’ “The 4400” and “That Damn Michael Che Sketch Show” on HBO.

Zoe Jensen (Katherine Howard) starred as Eliza Hamilton in the national tour of “Hamilton;” she’s also performed in “Dear Evan Hansen” on Broadway and “We Are the Tigers” off-Broadway.

Taylor Iman Jones (Catherine Parr) performed in “Head Over Heels” and “Groundhog Day” on B’way prior to “Six.” Other credits include national tours of “Hamilton” and “American Idiot” as well as a stint at the Kennedy Center’s iteration of “The Who’s Tommy.”
