“Hills” star hits NYFW, addresses weight loss discussion

Whitney Port is making the rounds at New York Fashion Week, after facing concern over her weight loss and a possible diagnosis of “neurovegetative depression.”

The designer and “Hills” star sat front row at Tibi on Saturday, dressed in the brand’s slouchy jeans and a black bandeau top.

The 5’10” glamazon, who hosts the “With Whit” podcast, told The Post she will be attending Priscavera and Dauphinette shows and going to a party at Casa Cipriani.

Port revealed on her podcast this week that she consulted a “nutritionist/psychiatrist” after fans, a friend and her husband, Tim Rosenman, worried that she was “looking too thin.”

The specialist suspects that Port’s challenges may be tied to a type of depression associated with lethargy and appetite, rather than an eating disorder.

“She was like, ‘there may be some disordered eating due to some emotional stuff but I do not think that you have an eating disorder’ so that felt really validating,’ ” said Port on the episode.

“Hills” star, fashion designer, and podcast host Whitney Port stepped out in full Tibi for the brand’s NYFW show on Saturday. “It’s nice when people feel concern, but I don’t think it’s necessary,” Port told The Post of concerns surrounding her new look. “It doesn’t feel like pressure because I know what’s really happening and I know that I’m healthy.”

The audio journalist, who posed for photographers like a pro, said she “feels great” and believes too much attention is being paid to her appearance.

“I think it’s hard when you put something out there that is personal,” said the 38-year-old mother of Sonny, age six. “You never know what the response is going to be. For me, it was probably blown out of proportion, and maybe that was my doing. Maybe I didn’t need to make it as big of a deal or even talk about it. I just feel like I’m taking care of myself.”

She does appreciate the support.

“It’s nice when people feel concern, but I don’t think it’s necessary. It doesn’t feel like pressure because I know what’s really happening and I know that I’m healthy.”
