How ‘And Just Like That’ Season 2 is dirtier than ever
Season 2 of the “Sex and the City” spinoff show, “And Just Like That,” will be more risqué.
According to a recent New Yorker profile of Sarah Jessica Parker, 58, the new season will cover topics such as Miranda engaging in pegging, and Carrie and Charlotte discussing “jizz.”
These are not topics that come naturally to Parker, as she told the outlet that she’s more prudish than her on-screen alter ego, Carrie Bradshaw.
“I could never do any of that stuff in my life,” she said. “It would be immoral. It would be unprincipled. An affair, husbands, kissing, buying, drinking — whims, whims, whims!”
The “Sex and the City” spinoff follows Carrie (Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon, 57) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis, 58) as the friends navigate life and love in their 50s — including the death of Mr. Big (Chris Noth), and Miranda’s controversial new nonbinary podcaster comedian partner, Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez).
Notably, Season 1 of “And Just Like That” omitted the fourth member of the group, Samantha (Kim Cattrall, 66), ostensibly due to her rumored feud with her co-stars. Parker previously told The Post, “I don’t have a disagreement with Kim, there’s no catfight. I’ve never said anything publicly, nor would I. I’ve only ever expressed admiration and gratitude for everything she contributed — and I still feel that way.”
In a surprising turn of events, The Post exclusively reported that Cattrall will return briefly in Season 2.
Nixon recently broke her silence about her big return, and told Vanity Fair that Cattrall is “not something that we speak about.” She also seemingly implied Cattrall left the “SATC” cast “walking around on eggshells with someone who’s unhappy.”
Parker told the New Yorker about Cattrall’s absence from the show, “We felt like it had been made clear by her that this was not a character she wanted to revisit.”
She also dished that she had been told “not to discuss” Cattrall’s Season 2 cameo, but revealed, “I am in the scene.”
“And Just Like That” Season 2 premieres Thursday, June 22 on Max.
