Tottenham look set to have manager Antonio Conte back on the touchline when they host AC Milan in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Conte has been in Italy for the last few weeks recovering from gallbladder surgery, with assistant coach Cristian Stellini overseeing events in his absence.
Stellini said after the 1-0 loss to Wolves at the weekend that Conte was set to return to the club on Sunday.

“Antonio will be a massive boost for us from tomorrow until the end of the season,” he said.

“It is important that Antonio is back. We want to have him back with a different result but the team show to Antonio it is alive.

Defeat to Wolves made it back-to-back losses for Tottenham, who were also beaten by Championship side Sheffield United in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Milan saw a four-game winning run ended at the weekend as they lost 2-1 to Fiorentina in Serie A.
