Hugh Grant, Chris Pine hate their diapered ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ toys

Hugh Grant and Chris Pine are toying with the idea of destroying their latest movie merch.

Grant, 62, and Pine, 42, star in the film “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves,” based on the tabletop fantasy game, so it’s only fitting that their character roles — Forge Fitzwilliam and Edgin Darvis, respectively — be transformed into action figures.

The pair of actors were first presented with the toy versions of themselves during an appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” — and they both had a few concerns.

“I am slightly worried about my big blue diaper or chastity belt,” Grant said.

“I understand what Hugh’s saying. I’m wearing some sort of brown diaper. I look better in blue,” Pine agreed.

Grant had a solution: “Should we set them on fire?”

Setting toys on fire wouldn’t exactly be a new thing for Grant.

He continued, “That’s what I used to do. Did you ever have Action Man? My brother and I had lots of Action Men and we burnt them. Why did we do that? We put them on the zip wires and set them on fire and then when we’d run out of Action Men, we did it to our cousins’ Barbie dolls.”

Action Man dolls are toy soldiers sold in the UK that copied upon the success of “GI Joe” in the US, according to the company website.

Grant also admitted that, although he stars in the movie, he’s never actually played “Dungeons & Dragons” — but not for Pine’s lack of trying to convince his costar to join in on the nearly 50-year-old role-playing game while on set.

Grant previously claimed on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” that the behind-the-scenes aspect of filming is no longer as fun as is once was.

“Films are so weird now. They are weird because, in the old days, by the end of the second week, you were all getting drunk in the evening and having dinner and falling in love with each other and all of that,” Grant said. “All of that stopped because of telephones. Everyone goes home and looks at Twitter. It’s so sad.”

Meanwhile, Grant recently went viral after the Oscars following a “rude” encounter with ABC Oscars red-carpet host Ashley Graham, 35.

The “Notting Hill” actor was seen rolling his eyes at the end of the awkward interview, prompting viewers to describe the movie star as “a total a – – hole.”
