“Sean Strickland was highly critical of of Israel Adesanya after the American caused one of the biggest upsets in UFC history to win the middleweight title. Adesanya was the heavy favourite coming into the bout but was well beaten, with all three judges scoring it 49-46 to Strickland. Speaking after landing gold, Strickland compared Adesanyau0027s performance to “fighting an amateur”.”
