I have ‘a lot of guilt’ about Pete Davidson
Kim Kardashian has some regrets about her relationship with Pete Davidson.
Kardashian, 42, was with Davidson, 29, from October 2021 to August 2022. They parted on amicable terms.
On the Season 3 premiere of “The Kardashians,” which aired Thursday on Hulu, Kardashian told her sister Khloé, 38, and her sister Kourtney’s former partner Scott Disick, 39, some details about her breakup with the former “SNL” star.
“There was like, a lot of guilt. He went through a lot because, you know, of my relationship,” she said.
She was presumably referring to her relationship with her ex-husband, Kanye West, 45. They were married in 2014 and their divorce was finalized in November 2022.
West, who is the father of Kardashian’s four children — North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4 — lashed out at Davidson on social media, posting since-deleted memes about him and unhinged rants in which he gave him the nickname “skete.”
““LOOK AT THIS D–KHEAD,” West also posted in February 2022, referring to Davidson.
In between other bizarre anti-Semitic rants on social media, which the Kardashian family called “never ok or excusable,” West also released a scathing song called “My Life Was Never Easy” in which he rapped, “God saved me from that crash/just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a—.”
In a music video for his song, “Easy,” West also kidnaps a version of Davidson and buries him alive.
The comedian, who stars in the Peacock comedy “Bupkis,” has become notorious for his relationships with famous women, from Ariana Grande to Kate Beckinsale.
During the coronation of King Charles in England, one tweet even joked, “I wonder if [Princess] Diana were alive if she would be invited. I do know that if she did, Pete Davidson would be her date.”
Nevertheless, although it might seem like he’s got a charmed life, Davidson got a rough go of it from West during his time with Kardashian. And she has admitted to feeling “guilty” about her ex-husband’s relentless social media attacks against her now-ex boyfriend.
In the episode of “The Kardashians,” she said that her eventual partner should be able to handle all areas of her life, including drama from West.
“My person will be like, f–k all of that,” she said. “Like, it’s gonna be hard, but we’re together, and we’re gonna like, do this, so I’m just waiting for that person.”
