IOC launches ‘Let’s Move’ initiative to mark Olympic Day as build-up to Paris 2024 Games continues
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is launching ‘Let’s Move’, a major initiative to get the world ‘moving’ and improve lives, with the help of global sporting superstars including David Beckham, Pau Gasol and the most decorated female track and field athlete in Olympic history, Allyson Felix.
Created in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and led by Olympians, the campaign is an invitation to make time every day for movement for better health.

PV Sindhu, David Rudisha and Yusra Mardini are amongst many other Olympians inviting the world to join the movement.
Over 200 athletes have already been engaged, 155 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) are participating, and thousands of schools and over ten million children will take part in the Olympic Day activities throughout the week.
Over 131 mass participation events and digital activations will take place in all corners of the world, providing an opportunity for everyone to move together.
A host of city landmarks will light up to celebrate the Let’s Move initiative, raise awareness and improve health and fitness.
Landmarks in Barcelona, London, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Rio, Budapest, Dubai, Beijing and many others will be illuminated throughout Olympic Day.
