Israel begs Taylor Swift to help get teen soldier freed

Israel is begging Taylor Swift to help find a teenage fan who is feared to be among those held hostage by murderous Hamas terrorists.

“Putting this message out into the universe with the hope that it reaches @taylorswift13,” the Jewish state’s Foreign Ministry wrote on X, tagging the “Bad Blood” star.

“Roni (19) Eshel who is a huge Swiftie has been missing since the October 7th Massacre,” the government agency wrote, using the common term for Swift’s fans.

“It would mean the world to Roni’s family if Taylor would use her platform to call for Roni’s return.”

Eshel, a soldier stationed at a base in Nahal Oz, last contacted her mother three hours before the terrorists stormed across the heavily fortified Israeli border on Oct. 7.

“Hi mom — I’m OK. I’m busy. I love you,” she wrote.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry later noted that “while Swifties all around the world” still get to enjoy the superstar’s music, Roni is still missing and assumed held hostage.

“Israeli Swifties are wearing bracelets with Roni’s name to Era tour screenings in Israel, to raise awareness and help bring Roni home,” the Israeli government said in a separate post.

The state of Israel said “it would mean the world to Roni’s family if Taylor would use her platform to call for Roni’s return.”

“@taylorswift13, please please use your platform with millions of followers to help us find Roni and bring her home,” it added.

The singer, who has more than 94 million followers on X, has not publicly responded to the pleas.

Roni’s uncle, Elad Levy, 49, has called on his government to do everything it can to rescue his niece and the other hostages.

“Something that bothers us is that a whole month has gone by, yet we haven’t really seen the condition of the hostages since then,” he said.

“We shouldn’t be talking about sending more aid to Gaza until we know more about the hostages and the crisis they’re going through.”

Roni’s family is desperately searching for her.

Swift was also tagged by the Israeli government last month after her bodyguard returned home to Israel to volunteer in the Israel Defense Forces in the war against Hamas.

“Hey @taylorswift, we promise you’ll never find another like him. Taylor Swift’s #ErasTour body guard returned home to fight for his country,” read a caption on Instagram.
