It’s Bills v. Patriots on Prime’s Thursday night matchup
Thanksgiving has come and gone. The victors of the last Thursday’s games have already munched on their turkey legs on center field, and until next November, no major holidays will fall on Thursday nights.
This means we can get back to focusing on what really matters: The NFL and Thursday Night Football on Prime Video.
This week’s matchup is a doozy. This first of December 2022 will see the 8-3 Bills (fresh off of a Thanksgiving win in Detroit) face off against the 6-5 Patriots (who lost in Minnesota on Thanksgiving) on the latter’s home turf.
There’s a lot on the line here: namely, the divisional standings. The AFC East’s top-performing teams, the Bills and their 8-3 counterparts, the Miami Dolphins, are only separated from the worst-performing team (the Patriots) by two games.
Tonight: Everyone’s playing to win.
Below, we’ve outlined how to watch, when to tune in, and what you can expect from tonight’s Thursday Night Football matchup.
The teams may change week to week, but this deal stays the same – Thursday Night Football is streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
Every week this season, the biggest weeknight event the NFL has to offer is free with a Prime subscription (or a 30-day free trial). Nab one now, and pick up TNF, in addition to Amazon’s massive slate of movies and Original Series, including “The Peripheral,” “Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” and “The Boys.”
When does the game start?
As always, you can expect an 8:15 p.m. EST kickoff at Gillette Stadium tonight, but if you’re interested in pregaming (literally), pregame coverage begins on Prime Video at 7 p.m. EST. Thursday’s temps are expected to be in the low forties at Gillette, so we’d highly recommend your couch as the ideal place to watch the evening unfold.
What can I expect from tonight’s game?
The matchup may be taking place on the Patriot’s home turf, but we’d expect the Bills Mafia to be out in full force. Tonight’s game marks the first of the last four of the regular season and will see both the Bills and the Patriots gunning for the top slot in the AFC East.
It’s a longer shot for the Patriots, sure, but there’s no reason why their steady climb to the top of the division couldn’t start now. That is unless the Bills have something to say about it.
Tonight, make sure to tune in via your Prime Video subscription or pick up that 30-day free trial. Regardless of the outcome, this matchup is not to be missed.
