Jamie Foxx still in rehab, surrounded by family, amid health crisis: report
Jamie Foxx is allegedly continuing medical treatment in Chicago after being hospitalized in Atlanta for an unknown “medical complication.”
Foxx’s daughters, Corinne and Annalise — plus the latter’s mom, Kristin Grannis — were all in the Windy City over the weekend to spend time with the 55-year-old entertainer, TMZ reported on Monday.
Annalise was spotted outside of a physical rehab center with her guitar, while Grannis was captured holding Mother’s Day flowers and a balloon.
While the outlet did not name the specific rehab center where Foxx is reportedly staying, they did say that the facility specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and cancer rehabilitation.
TMZ claimed a source told them that Foxx arrived at this Chicago facility in late April.
The Post reached out to Jamie and Corinne Foxx for comment.
Starting in mid-April, Foxx was hospitalized in Georgia for nearly a month.
Neither he nor the Foxx family has specified what kind of medical complication he has been experiencing, but Corinne did deny a rumor last week that their family was “preparing for the worst.”
“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild,” she said in an Instagram story.
“My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday!” Corinne added. “Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”
Although Nick Cannon has stepped in to replace Foxx as the host of “Beat Shazam,” the Fox network announced Monday that Corinne and her dad are planning to host a new game show titled “We Are Family,” which is set to premiere sometime in 2024.
The show will showcase celebrities’ non-famous relatives performing duets with their famed family members, who are hidden from the camera.
Before his hospitalization, Foxx was working on the comedic thriller “Back in Action” with actress Cameron Diaz.
