Jamie Lynn Spears on relationship with Britney: ‘I love my sister’

There’s no bad blood between Jamie Lynn Spears and Britney Spears — at least according to the “Zoey 101” star.

Jamie Lynn, 32, spoke about growing up with her “Toxic”-singing sister Saturday on the British reality show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.”

TV presenter Fred Sirieix asked Jamie Lynn to reminisce on Britney’s infamous kiss with Madonna at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

“They just did it. I was at home watching like, ‘Oh OK, this will be fun tomorrow at school, can’t wait,’” Jamie Lynn recalled.

“And so literally I just thought — and, by the way, in today’s world it would mean nothing — but it was this iconic moment that they went with, and it happened, and it’s what they did.”

The “Sweet Magnolias” actress even claimed the pair’s mom, Lynne, backed Britney’s then-controversial move.

“My mom was like, ‘It’s artistic, she’s expressing herself,’” she said.

Jamie Lynn also recalled looking up to her pop star sister, saying, “Anything my sister did I always thought was the best.”

“When it came to my sister, even if I felt anything, if anyone said anything I was ready to go. I was like, ‘Don’t talk about my sister, she’s the best.’”

Sirieix kept the conversation going by asking Jamie Lynn, “Who became famous first?”

“My sister. She’s 10 years older,” she explained. “She was famous since I was about 6 or 7.”

Fellow contestant Frankie Dettori then entered the conversation to ask Jamie Lynn where she currently stands with the “Lucky” singer.

“I love my sister,” Jamie Lynn quickly replied.

The Post has contacted reps for Jamie Lynn and Britney for comment.

But it hasn’t been all love between the sisters in recent years.

Britney claimed in November 2021 that her family should “all be in jail” for allowing her 13-year conservatorship to go on for as long as it did.

Jamie Lynn also spoke at length about Britney in her 2022 book “Things I Should Have Said,” in one instance, claiming in their childhood, Britney locked them both in a room with a knife because she was “scared.”

Britney denied her sister’s claim and slammed Jamie Lynn for trying to “sell a book at my expense.”
