Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet settle divorce same day as filing
Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet settled their divorce on Monday — the same day “The Cosby Show” alum asked a judge for a dissolution of their six-year marriage.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the former power couple have come to an agreement on the custody of their two kids, child support, and spousal support.
“The parties have a written agreement that will be submitted to the court, or a stipulation for judgment will be submitted to the court,” the docs say.
The former lovebirds seemingly handled everything privately and will not have to hash things out in court as the divorce is listed as “uncontested.”
Bonet, 56, and Momoa, 44, will share joint and physical custody of their daughter, Lola, 16, and son, Nakoa, 15, as well as the kids’ living expenses without any formal child support payments.
The superstar couple also waived their rights to get spousal support.
Although though the divorce is moving ultra-fast, Momoa and Bonet won’t be declared legally single until July, the docs claim.
The Post has contacted reps for Momoa and Bonet for comment.
The “High Fidelity” star filed for divorce from the “Aquaman” actor on Monday after they announced their split in January 2022.
“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times,” the couple said in a statement at the time. “A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception … feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring.”
“And so We share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”
“The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived,” they continued. “We free each other to be who we are learning to become,” the statement continued. “Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children. Teaching our Children What’s possible. Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail.”
News of the split caught fans off guard, but even more interestingly, Bonet cited their date of separation as Oct. 7, 2020, in the divorce filing.
The pair started dating back in 2005 but didn’t officially marry until 2017.
