Jelly Roll pays $1,000 for his favorite Thanksgiving ‘dressing’ after forgetting to order

Superstar Nashville country singer Jelly Roll’s last minute Thanksgiving shopping almost ended in disaster until one of his fans saved the day, local Tennessee station WTVF reported.

Jelly Roll, 38, rushed to TikTok Wednesday pleading to fans that he needed someone to connect him with Barr’s Music City Soul Food restaurant so they could make his favorite dressing for a $1,000 offer.

“Alright ya’ll, I f***** up and I need ya’lls help. I’m a husband and I do what husbands do– I told my wife I’d take care of the dressing…” Jelly Roll started the video out.

The Tennessee native said he called the business countless times on the phone but to no avail, forcing him resort to social media in a cry for help.

“We need help! Please. If you have a contact for Barr’s Music City Soul Food in Nashville. It’s the best dressing ever— Tell that lady I will give them $1,000 for two pans of Barr’s Music City Soul Food dressing for my family for Thanksgiving,” he continued.

Jelly Roll even went to the platform X to reiterate his desperate request, saying “I’ll pay someone handsomely to help me convince them to make me some dressing for thanksgiving.”

Right after Jelly Roll made his announcement on TikTok, users flooded the comment section under the video that now has over 3.4 million views.

Fans got a kick out of the short clip, saying how the singer’s wife, Bunnie DeFord, probably reminded him multiple times in advance about the dressing.

“You know bunnie reminded him 18 times about the dressing before this emergency 😂😂” one fan said.

“How many time bunnie ask you about the dressing before now lol” another jokingly replied.

As thousands of fans poured into the comment section, one super hero fan came out of the woodwork to save the day — promising Jelly Roll he would get the word over to Barr’s Music City Soul Food.

The fan kept his word and the owner of Jelly Roll’s favorite restaurant accepted the $1,000 offer for the dressing.

“Jelly Roll, “We Got You!,” the establishment shared to their Facebook, using the hashtag “#1000for2PansofDressing.”

A friend of Jelly Roll came by the business to pick up the pans of dressing, assuring the workers the singer didn’t want any other dressing unless it came from them.

“It was that or nothing,” the friend, named Boston, said. “That’s what I know. It was Barr’s or nothing for the dressing.”

Barr’s Music City Soul Food posted an updated video to their Facebook to thank Jelly Roll for the $1,000 and free promotion, which earned the restaurant visits from multiple local new stations for interviews.
