Jetstar plane cheers Australian woman getting kicked off flight

A rowdy traveler was booted off a Jetstar flight to the sound of applause from the entire cabin after an ugly war of words reportedly erupted over a window seat.

The woman, understood to be an Australian, was filmed lashing out at passengers on the flight from Phuket to Sydney over the weekend.

According to social media posts, the woman became frustrated “because she wanted to sit by the window.”

In one clip shared online, she was filmed excitedly saying “what’s happening habibi” to a camera.

In a separate video, her demeanor appeared totally different as she shouted “I’m out, I’m out” while trying to get out of her seat.

“Thanks a f—king lot,” she said as she climbed into the aisle before removing items from the overhead locker.

Fellow travelers broke out in applause as she made her way off the plane, only for her to make a swift turnaround just before exiting.

She stormed toward one passenger and menacingly asked: “What did you call me?”

A different woman and man stood up and encouraged her to leave – shooing her away and waving goodbye.

Speaking to one flight attendant, the woman was heard asking “am I supposed to ignore it?,” the employee responded by nodding.

The woman continued to hover at the exit speaking loudly and pointing for some time before eventually leaving.

Jetstar confirmed a woman was removed from the flight after becoming “disruptive and using abusive and inappropriate language”.

“An unruly passenger was escorted off our flight prior to take off in Phuket after becoming disruptive and using abusive and inappropriate language towards other customers and our team members,” a spokesperson told news.com.au.

“Airport security in Phuket was called and the passenger was escorted off the flight. We take safety and security very seriously and this type of behavior will not be tolerated on our aircraft.”
