Jimmy White beats Peng Yisong to make last 16 of ranking event aged 60 with win at German Masters

Jimmy White became the first player in their 60s to reach the last 16 of a ranking event since 1992 courtesy of a 5-1 victory over Peng Yisong at the German Masters

The last player to do so was Eddie Charlton at the British Open in 1992.

It was a slow start from White but he played his way into form during the match and will play Jack Lisowski on Thursday night.
