John Travolta, Katherine Heigl have ‘so much chemistry’ in upcoming rom-com

“That’s Amore!” indeed.

John Travolta, 69, and Katherine Heigl, 44, apparently have enough chemistry to fog up the big screen.

Nick Vallelonga, the director of the duo’s upcoming musical romantic comedy “That’s Amore!” boasted about the actors’ rapport Wednesday in an interview with Variety.

“John and Katherine are fantastic together, and during rehearsals, they had so much chemistry,” Vallelonga, 64, told the outlet.

“We’re not breaking into big production numbers, but I wanted to try something a little different,” he contined. “We’ve recorded about seven songs so far with a full orchestra, and [Travolta is] just a magical person.”

The Post has contacted reps for Travolta and Heigl for comment.

Vallelonga added that he always had Travolta in mind to play Nick in the film, a never-married man whose world changes when he meets Patty (Heigl).

“I got to work with John on a George Gallo film [The Poison Rose] and I was his stand-in for a week on ‘Staying Alive,’ so I’ve always been a big fan of his work,” Vallelonga explained. “He just makes you happy when you see him on screen, and I’ve always dreamed of making this movie with him.”

Christopher Walken, Talia Shire, William Fichtner, D.B. Sweeney and Drea de Mateo all round of the cast.

The film has yet to receive a release date.

Heigl has been married to singer Josh Kelley since 2007. The pair share three kids: daughters Naleigh, 13, and Adalaide, 11, and son Joshua, 6.

Travolta was married to “Mischief” star Kelly Preston from 1991 until she sadly died from breast cancer in 2020.

They also had three children: Ella, 23, and Benjamin, 12, and Jett, who died from a seizure in 2009 at the age of 16.
