Justin Rose ends four-year title drought with AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am win in Ryder Cup boost

Justin Rose ended a four-year wait for a title as he claimed victory at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am.

The former world No. 1 closed out with a six-under par 66 as he finished on 18-under par, three shots clear of Brendon Todd and Brandon Wu.

It’s Rose’s first victory since 2019 and boosts his hopes of securing a spot at this year’s Ryder Cup.

It also ensures he qualifies for the Masters and the PGA Championship.

“Time flies by, doesn’t it?! It’s amazing how long it has been,” said the 42-year-old.

“I did happen to have my breakfast this morning and saw that come up on Golf Channel – 86 starts and so many missed cuts – and I was like ‘hmm, that’s not great reading!’

“An incredible week from start to finish with so much happening in my favour.”

Rose started the final day of the rain-delayed tournament with a two-shot lead.

Resuming on the 10th hole he made three quick birdies to extend his advantage over the chasing pack.

He closed out with four successive pars to wrap up the win.

Rose has now won 11 titles on the PGA Tour and 23 overall in his career.
