Kanye West has a long history of admiring Hitler, sources say

A business executive who worked for Kanye West has alleged the rapper has long admired Adolf Hitler — and many close to him have been well aware.

“He would praise Hitler by saying how incredible it was that he was able to accumulate so much power and would talk about all the great things he and the Nazi Party achieved for the German people,” the individual, who asked not to be named due to a confidentiality agreement and fear of retribution by West, divulged to CNN.

West’s former employee said that the rapper created a hostile work environment partly fostered by his “obsession” with the Nazi leader.

They also said that West openly discussed reading “Mein Kampf,” Hitler’s 1925 autobiographical manifesto, and lamented on about his “admiration” for the Nazi party, specifically noting their use of propaganda. The executive also informed the media that those close to West were “fully aware” of his affinity for Hitler and the Nazi party.

West even pushed to name his 2018 album “Hitler” before being convinced into “Ye,” four sources also confirmed to CNN.

The business executive who is finally speaking out “left his position and reached a settlement with West and some of his companies over workplace complaints, including harassment,” the news outlet confirmed.

West has been making headlines in recent weeks by spewing anti-Semitic threats and promoting suggestively white supremacist slogans along with other hateful speech, but those have worked with him say this is nothing new.

West allegedly professed his love for Adolf Hitler back in 2018, when he infamously told TMZ that slavery was “a choice.”

Former TMZ reporter Van Lathan claimed the rapper had made the comments on camera but TMZ ultimately edited them out of the video.

“I’ve already heard him say that stuff before,” Lathan said on his “Higher Learning” podcast this month, referencing Ye’s latest anti-Semitic comments.

“I mean, I was taken aback because that type of anti-Semitic talk is disgusting. But as far as him, I knew that that was in him because when came to TMZ, he said that stuff and they took it out of the interview,” he alleged.

Lathan — who worked for TMZ until 2019 — claimed he brought up the Holocaust while rebutting Ye’s comments about slavery, when the rapper made some shocking claims in response.

“If you look at what I said at TMZ, it goes from me saying like, ‘Hey Kanye, there’s real-life, real-world implication to everything that you just said there.’ What I say after that — if I can remember, it’s been a long time — was, ‘12 million people actually died because of Nazism and Hitler and all of that stuff,’ and then I move on to talk about what he said about slavery,” Lathan alleged.

“The reason they took it out is because it wouldn’t have made sense unless they kept in Kanye saying he loved Hitler and the Nazis, which he said when he was at TMZ. He said something like, ‘I love Hitler, I love Nazis.’ Something to that effect.”

The rapper, who was diagnosed in 2016 with bipolar disorder, has been dismissed by some claiming his remarks as mental illness while others are calling him out for his hate speech.

He has been banned from Twitter after writing Sunday that he wanted to go “death con 3” on Jews. His Twitter suspension for anti-Semitism comes days after West was knocked off Instagram for making anti-Jewish remarks.

His Instagram account was first restricted after sharing a since-deleted screenshot of an iMessage exchange in which he accused Sean Combs, a k a Diddy, of being controlled by Jews.

Major brands including Balenciaga, Adidas, and Peloton have cut ties with West in recent weeks which has cost him his billionaire status.
