Kate Beckinsale posts cryptic photo after rushing to hospital post-Golden Globes 2024
Kate Beckinsale is concerning fans after she posted a cryptic black square on her Instagram account on Jan. 10, mere days after she rushed to the hospital following the 2024 Golden Globes.
According to Deadline, the actress went to the hospital after the star-studded affair, where her stepfather, TV director Roy Battersby, is recovering from a stroke.
The “Pearl Harbor” star didn’t change out of her sparkly silver Atelier Zuhra gown as she joined her family at the facility.
The Post reached out to Beckinsale for comment.
“Golden globes 2024 start to end @goldenglobes @cbstv,” she captioned an Instagram post two days prior on Jan. 8.
In the photos, Beckinsale joined her loved ones as they ate burgers and played on their phones.
The collage also included pictures of the actress strutting the red carpet at Sunday’s award show and presenting the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Drama with Don Cheadle.
“What an honour to hand the magnificently talented @lilygladstone her well-deserved Golden Globe and watch her make history as the first of hopefully many Indigenous Best Actress award winners,” she wrote of the “Killers of the Flower Moon” actress, who took home the trophy for best actress in a drama.
“May I also mention what a thoroughly excellent bloke @doncheadle is and that I never want to present without him ever again,” Beckinsale went on. “Congratulations to all the nominees and winners , and the crews and families and loved ones who helped get them there.”
The 81st Golden Globes were hosted by comedian Jo Koy, who has received mainly negative reviews for bombing his monologue, and were located at the Beverly Hilton hotel in L.A.
Last month, the “Van Helsing” star, who has reportedly been taking care of both her mother and stepfather, got candid about her family’s ongoing struggles with various illnesses.
“We need a miracle,” she wrote in a different Instagram post. “This week has taken an even scarier turn involving the health of my beloved stepdad, Roy, and we need every tiny scrap of love and magic in the hope he pulls through.”
The “Click” actress asked her fans if they “would be kind enough to send healing energy his way, I’d be so grateful. I’d never forgive myself if I didn’t try every single thing and then would wonder for the rest of my life if that would have helped.”
On Wednesday, Beckinsale shared the black Instagram photo to her social media page with no other details.
“Love you so much sweet sweet one,” Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ daughter, Tallulah Willis, wrote in the comments.
