Kate Middleton took the lead at Wimbledon: ‘Proof of her power’

Kate Middleton oozed confidence — and “proof of her power” Sunday at Wimbledon, according to royal experts.

The Princess of Wales, 41, attended the men’s singles final game alongside her husband, Prince William and their two kids, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 8.

Body language expert Judi James studied the royals’ behavior at the tennis match and divulged to the Mirror that Middleton took the family “leadership” role while Prince William acted like an “over-awed child.”

Behavioral analyst James even went so far as to declare: “Kate showed herself to be the true Queen of Wimbledon this year.”

The Duchess of Cambridge — who serves as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club — was “very much the leader of her small family group.”

James added that Middleton “coached” her kids at the game, walking them through the Carlos Alcaraz vs Novak Djokovic tournament.

She was constantly “pointing and explaining” the showdown to her royal clan.

“Both children appeared to be as enthusiastic about the match as Kate herself was by the time the final was under way and their mirroring of her body language rituals showed a synchronization that was proof of her power and her leadership role at that location,” James said.

William, 41, looked on like an “over-awed child” at the event, and “gazed on proudly” at his wife as he “took on a more low-key role.”

Body language expert Darren Stanton also gave his thoughts on the couple’s appearance at Sunday’s glitzy tennis game.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, he noted that William has become “more comfortable as the Prince of Wales” and is “in a good place” with Middleton.

Stanton explained: “William can come across as quite serious in some of the pictures from Wimbledon, but that shows he’s taking his job seriously and wants to do everyone proud. He felt the pressure to set the perfect example.”

Middleton donned an emerald green frock for the sunny day, matching with the symbolic hue for tennis.

Stanton revealed that the color “signifies openness and how she wants people to be open with her.”

And while the match was all fun and games for the Cambridges, it was also for business.

“The world’s eyes were on them. It wasn’t about them, they were representing the family there. They put on a very serious front, however Kate joked around from time to time and appeared to enjoy herself,” Stanton dished.

Despite the seriousness, William and Middleton were also “smiling with each other” and their laughter was “authentic.”

He went on: “Both of them operated independently, and we saw an emergence of greater confidence from both Kate and William.”
