Kate Middleton will ‘never forgive’ Meghan Markle after public ‘betrayal’: report

The Princess of Wales is not looking to forgive and forget the “ultimate betrayal” by Meghan Markle, according to a report.

Ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat down with Oprah Winfrey for their explosive tell-all interview in 2021, Kate Middleton has not found it in her heart to forgive Markle for the “damage” caused — and it doesn’t look like that will changing anytime soon, a source told OK! Magazine.

“Kate has drawn a hard line in the sand — she’s not changing her mind about them,” the insider said.

“They never apologized for their lies. But it’s harder for William because Harry is his brother. It’s a horrible situation all around.”

The source added that Kate saw the bombshell Oprah interview as the “ultimate betrayal” by Markle.

What’s more, the insider claims William’s hopes of “extending an olive branch to Harry” left Kate “incensed” — prompting her to get “into a big fight” with the Prince of Wales.

“But Kate feels that Harry and especially Meghan have done enough damage to the royal family, and will do even more damage if they’re let back in,” the source added.

It comes as reports suggested that Kate has been phoning Harry, 38, late at night as a “kind gesture” in an effort to mend his fractured relationship with the royals.

“Kate has been in touch with Harry to tell him to keep his chin up and not worry too much about these temporary setbacks,” a source told UK’s Closer Weekly.

“She feels very sorry for him right now. Seeing him go through all these setbacks is very difficult to witness and it tugs at her heartstrings — especially as his court trial is taking place so close to their home.”

The relationship between the Sussexes and the Firm took a turn for the worse when Harry released his protocol-shattering tell-all memoir, Spare, in January.

In the book, he branded his older brother, Prince William, his “arch-nemesis,” accused the royal family of mistreating Meghan, and revealed private details of Meghan and Kate’s wedding dress-fitting dust-up.

The book’s release coincided with the pair’s Netflix docuseries release, in which they detail why they decided to step back from royal duties in 2020.
