Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos blasted for detailing bedroom drama on ‘Live’

Talk about a snooze-fest.

Fans are fearing “mundane” domestic dramas will overrun “Live With Kelly and Mark” after Kelly Ripa played a recording of husband and new co-host Mark Consuelos snoring in bed.

Ripa, who has been on “Live” since 2001, hit out at her snoring spouse during a segment on Tuesday, one day after he officially joined her as co-host on the long-running daytime show.

“Most nights, that’s how I wake up,” Ripa said of Consuelos’ loud snoring. “That’s my mid-evening alarm.”

She subsequently flipped out her phone to play audio of her husband’s heavy bedtime breathing — a move that left many viewers unimpressed.

“Remember the days with [original co-host] Regis [Philbin] when REAL social & news issues were discussed? NOT ‘Bedtime eating & sleeping habits,’ or ‘We’re we walking or jogging in Central Park,” or many other mundane things that were conversed about! Big fail!!” one fan fumed on Twitter.

“So you guys will talk about your marriage and life at home all morning,” another moaned. “Maybe you two need a reality show.”

A third chimed in, stating: “Kelly Ripa is an a–hole playing her husband snoring. I’m so done with this show.”

“It can’t be more obvious that Kelly and Mark don’t do their homework to talk about more current events. They’ve gone as low as playing a recording of Mark’s snoring! We’re doomed with these two! Bye!” another unimpressed viewer declared.

Meanwhile, another woman took to social media to say that constantly hearing about the pair’s marriage was painful.

“I’ve been watching since before Kelly but I think it’s time to move on. I love Kelly and Mark but I’m a widow, I look to this show to cheer me up and make me smile,” the woman wrote. “2 days in and I’m sick of hearing about their perfect love, life and family. It’s too much.”

However, many others declared that they loved watching Ripa and Consuelos share the screen together.

“OMG! Is it me or has @kellymarklive been injected with a dose of energy? I totally enjoyed [former co-host] Ryan Seacrest but this new energy & chemistry with Mark Consuelos just hits different,” one cheered.

Another fan fawned: “I love seeing you two together! You’re a strong, loving, family-oriented couple and I enjoy you sharing your lives with us. I’m glad that Mark is now a permanent member of the show! God bless you and your family!”

Consuelos has been a guest co-host on “Live” for several years, but Monday marked his first official day as a permanent fixture on the show.

The actor — who replaced Ryan Seacrest — received mixed reviews for his first day, but ABC is banking that he’ll be a ratings smash sitting alongside his wife.

He recently told the Hollywood Reporter that he believes he and Ripa will bring something to the TV that’s new and exciting for viewers at home.

“I don’t think it’s been done. I think there’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, do ‘Morning Joe.’ That’s a different show, though. That’s very much news,” he declared. “So it’d be unique and as much of that is a married couple on TV with a unique perspective.”

“Live With Kelly and Mark” airs on weekdays on ABC.
