Ken Jennings savagely roasts ‘liar’ George Santos in ‘Jeopardy!’ clue

He may have hung up his wig and heels, but Rep. George Santos was dragged into another controversy on “Jeopardy!” last night.

The congressional representative from New York typified the final — and uncharacteristically “correct” — answer during Wednesday night’s “Jeopardy! Masters” tournament finale.

Controlling the board rather early in the game, 24-year-old Mattea Roach picked the $800 question in the “recent events” category.

“Subheads in a piece on this NY Rep.: ‘Lied about where he went to … college’; ‘Allegedly Swindled a disabled vet whose dog was dying,’” read host Ken Jennings.

Roach quickly responded to the host, asking, “Who is George Santos?”

Jennings, who appeared to have been waiting all night for the clue, immediately quipped in response.

“I don’t get to say this very much, but George Santos is correct,” snarked Jennings, 49, prompting the studio audience to cackle and applaud.

Fans of the show took to social media to share in the hilarious moment.

“I guess next time George Santos says he was a question on Jeopardy, he won’t be lying,” tweeted one fan.

“Ken Jennings f – – king roasted George Santos on Jeopardy tonight and I am HERE for it,” exclaimed another.

“Was not expecting the Jeopardy Masters finale to include Ken Jennings murdering George Santos on national television,” said a third person.

The Post reached out to Santos, 34, for comment

New York’s controversial Republican representative first made headlines in December of 2022 when he admitted that he had lied about his education and work experience.

“I am not a criminal,” Santos said at one point during his exclusive interview. “This [controversy] will not deter me from having good legislative success. I will be effective. I will be good.”

The Long Island congressman later claimed that his mother was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks though it was later proven she died in 2016 due to cancer.

Santos was further plunged into fresh scandal after the freshman congressman was indicted on fraud and money laundering charges.

Despite several of his colleagues calling for his resignation, the rep said that he vows to continue his re-election campaign.
