Kenan Thompson dances to iconic TV themes songs at 2022 Emmys

Kenan Thompson’s dance moves as host of the Emmys were “All That.”

Opening the 2022 Primetime Emmys with his fancy footwork, Thompson, 44, boogied to a medley of iconic television theme songs, including “Friends” ditty “I’ll be there for you” by the Rembrandts, the legendary “Brady Bunch” jingle and the unmistakable beat of “Law & Order.”

“Y’all ever see ‘Living Single?,’ I think you’d like it,” joked the “Saturday Night Live” star as he danced with umbrellas, background dancers and a prop couch, to the “Friends” theme.

(His “Living Single” reference was a light-hearted jab at the longstanding joke that “Friends” was NBC’s more mainstream version of the all-black cast ’90s sitcom).

Thompson — who dubbed himself the “mayor of television” in his opening monologue while wearing a top hat and coattails — then edited himself into the “ The Brady Bunch” theme visuals, placing himself in the center of the cast’s nine-squared grid. He joked that late show star Robert Reed, who played dad Mike Brady, was his “biological father.”

The “Kenan & Kel” star then went on the cut a rug to the booming sound of “Law & Order” tunes while dressed as “Law & Order: SUV” star Ice-T.

Thompson closed his Emmys dance recital costumed as actress Emilia Clarke’s “Game of Thrones” character Daenerys in a long blonde wig.

Flanked by a band of dancers dressed as the “unsullied” soldiers, Thompson yelled out: “That’s the game of thrones b–ches.”
