Kim Kardashian calls out Olivia Wilde’s ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ drama on ‘AHS’

Kim Kardashian has called out Olivia Wilde’s infamously messy “Don’t Worry Darling” drama — on TV.

During the latest episode of “American Horror Story: Delicate,” which stars Kardashian, 42, Emma Roberts, 32, and Cara Delevingne, 31, Siobhan (Kardashian), a publicist, gave advice to Anna (Roberts), an actress, after Anna fainted at an awards show.

“We are going to pull a Wilde card. As in Olivia Wilde,” Siobhan told her.

“Don’t mention what happened and wait until everyone forgets slash low-key gaslight the people that do ask and make them think that they’re the problem. Because, you know, sexism.”

Siobhan was referencing the drama during the “Don’t Worry Darling” press tour in September 2022.

The movie, which was directed by Wilde, and starred Florence Pugh, 27, Harry Styles, 29, and Chris Pine, 43, quickly got overshadowed by the bizarre drama of its press tour.

Among other incidents, a viral video had the public speculating that Styles spit on Pine during the premiere. The viral drama got so much attention, that Pine himself responded.

“This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation,” his rep said in a statement to People.

Rumors also flew around that Wilde and Pugh had a feud behind the scenes – in part because Wilde was romantically linked to Styles.

Wilde addressed this in a November 2022 interview with Elle. Wilde said Pugh made a “wise comment” when she recently quipped that the cast “didn’t sign up for a reality show.”

“And I love that she put it that way, because it’s as though the general public feels that if you are making something that you’re selling to the public, you somehow have accepted that your life will be torn to shreds by a pack of wolves,” Wilde continued. “No, that’s actually not part of the job description. Never was.”

It’s comments like this that Kardashian’s character in “American Horror Story” poked fun at.

Wilde’s and Styles’ romantic drama also overlapped with Wilde’s divorce from Jason Sudeikis. A number of bizarre stories emerged from that, including an allegation that Sudeikis became so upset that Wilde shared her “special salad dressing” with Styles that the “Ted Lasso” star threw himself under Wilde’s car to try to stop her from giving Styles the salad dressing. (Wilde and Styles split in November 2022 after nearly two years together.)

This is just the latest instance of drama from the “American Horror Story” set, after transgender actress Angelica Ross accused Roberts of making “transphobic remarks.”

Ross later revealed that Roberts reached out to her.

“Thank you @RobertsEmma for calling and apologizing, recognizing your behavior was not that of an ally,” she shared on her social media. “I will leave the line open to follow up on your desire to do better and support social justice causes with your platform.”

“American Horror Story: Delicate” airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX and the next day on Hulu.
