Kim Kardashian makes startling admission about ending TV career

At the Time100 Summit Tuesday, would-be lawyer Kim Kardashian said she would be glad to give up reality TV to pursue a serious legal career, once she completes her studies and passes the California bar.

“I would be just as happy being an attorney full time,” she said.

“I always joke with my mom [Kris Jenner] — who’s my manager — I say, ‘Kim K. is retiring, and I’m just going to be an attorney.’ ”

Kardashian, 42, is following in the footsteps of her late father, legal eagle Robert Kardashian, who famously got O.J. Simpson acquitted in the bombshell 1995 murder trial of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman that rocked America.

After announcing her lawyerly aspirations in 2019, Kardashian passed California’s first-year law students’ exam — known as the ”baby bar,” and a requirement for those who, like Kardashian, are pursuing their studies independently — on her fourth try in December 2021.

The reality superstar began studying after being inspired by her time working in the field of prison and criminal-justice reform.

“The journey just really opened up my eyes so much,” she told interviewer Poppy Harlow at the Time100 Summit, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in Manhattan.

“It gets overwhelming because there’s so much to be done … I brought my sister Khloé [Kardashian] to a prison for the first time last week, and that was really eye-opening for her.”

Now she’s hoping that it won’t be reality TV or shapewear but her reform advocacy that will be “her life’s most meaningful work.”
