King Charles’ coronation in ‘chaos’ as Harry delays rehearsal: report

King Charles’ impending coronation ceremony has been thrust into chaos after a slew of issues have plagued plans for the big day with just three weeks to go, according to a report.

In addition to the rehearsal running way over the planned time limit, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s RSVP responses — or lack thereof — have caused delays in planning, a source has told The Mirror.

As royal aids descend into a chaotic “race against time” before the historic May 6 event at London’s Westminster Abbey, sources say that a string of notable issues have yet to be ironed out.

“It’s all very frantic, complete chaos to be frank,” a royal insider told the outlet. “There is a plan, which is supposed to be the blueprint of how the day should operate, but things are changing daily which is causing massive headaches.”

Another source told the outlet described the planning stages to be “down to the wire.”

“This is naturally a huge event and the important point is everyone is pulling in the right direction,” the source said.

“The King and Queen Consort want it to be perfect as does everyone involved which is why everything is being done to make it so.”

It’s reported that aides are still waiting on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s RSVP’s for the big day, for which invitations were sent out weeks ago.

Among the myriad of issues looming over staffers to sort before the big day includes the all-important seating plan, which sources say has still not been finalized due to aides not knowing whether the exiled royals will be in attendance.

Meghan and Harry haven’t revealed whether they plan on making the transatlantic trip from their Montecito, Calif. home to London.

If they do go, the exiled royals will be met with a “cold shoulder” from senior members of the royal family, according to a report.

Other worries reportedly include confusion over tiaras, and whether or not female members of the royal family will wear them at a time when the Firm is looking to slash spending.

Sources also told the outlet that the King and Queen Consort Camilla have been practicing their roles in a “mock-up Abbey” that has been built for them inside Buckingham Palace in the run-up to the big day.

The Post has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.
