Lecce sack D’Aversa following apparent ‘headbutt’ on Verona striker Henry

“Lecce have sacked head coach Robert D’Aversa after he appeared to try and headbutt Hellas Verona striker Thomas Henry in Sunday’s 1-0 Serie A defeat. Both men received red cards but while D’Aversa apologised, he also denied that he attempted to headbutt the player and the club have now moved to scak him on Monday morning. Leece are just a point above the relegation zone.”
