Lenny Kravitz’s huge fall scarf goes viral on TikTok
Lenny Kravitz can’t get fall off his mind.
The musician went viral on Saturday after posting a TikTok of himself proclaiming that summer was over and it was time for fall.
“Grab your big scarf,” said the “Hunger Games” actor in the video. “It’s the first day of fall.”
In the Tiktok — which has gained nearly six million views — Kravitz, 59, can be seen strutting through a park wearing denim jeans and mustard yellow shoes as well as a black shirt and brown leather jacket.
The “I Belong to You” singer also donned sunglasses and the aforementioned big scarf — which could have easily been mistaken for a huge blanket.
Kravitz’s five-second video also marked his first-ever appearance on the app and users were delighted.
“Lenny Kravitz is our Mariah Carey for fall,” declared one fan.
“I can’t imagine anyone else I’d rather have tell me that it’s the first day of fall,” added a second person.
“Who better to announce fall than the Lenny Kravitz,” questioned a third user.
One concerned user also questioned if Kravitz felt warm while using the scarf.
Additionally, the “Low” singer managed to win the support of The Weather Channel who commented that “We’re here for it.”
The Post reached out to Kravitz for comment.
Kravitz’s video also featured the return of the scarf that propelled the singer into meme infamy.
In 2012, the actor was first spotted donning the oversized scarf while running errands in New York City, which was subsequently turned into a meme by the online community.
Kravitz later joked about being a meme while appearing in a 2018 episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
“I cannot escape this,” joked the singer. “I live in the Bahamas. I’m used to hot weather and I had to go to the grocery store. I was buying some groceries and I thought I’d put on a little scarf to protect my throat and that’s the scarf I had.”
Fallon, 49, later told Kravitz: “This is not a scarf, this is a blanket.”
“That was the day I thought I would break it out, and I had no idea that there would be paparazzi and that is now everything,” admitted Kravitz.
Kravitz recently stunned Hudson Yard gym-goers when he turned up in a Chrome Hearts tracksuit, sunglasses and black biker boots.
“He was really working out and… strength training,” a source told Page Six. “He was very friendly and talked to everyone who said hello to him. He declined photos, but he was very friendly and very nice.”
According to Kravitz, his “vegan and primarily raw” helps keep his sculpted physique.
“I have done extensive raw diets where I eat raw for a year…[I’m] very careful about what I put in my body and how I take care of my body,” he said.
