Trump’s bond set at $200,000 in Georgia election interference case

Donald Trump’s lawyers have agreed to bail terms including a $200,000 bond and a pledge not to intimidate witnesses as the former president faces criminal charges that he conspired to overturn the 2020 election results in the swing state of Georgia.

The agreement was disclosed in court filings on Monday as Trump prepares to be booked on the charges in Fulton County, Georgia.

Trump is expected to plead not guilty to the 19 charges that were brought by the Georgia prosecutors, including violating the state’s anti- racketeering laws, engaging in criminal solicitation and a criminal conspiracy, making false statements and filing false documents.
