Here is at look at some of the 18 people gunned down during Wednesday’s mass shooting in Maine.
While some of the 13 injured cling to life in the hospital, more details have emerged about those killed by shooter and Army reservist Robert Card, who was found dead.

Hathaway, 35, is remembered as a “goofy, down to earth person, loved to joke around and always had an uplifting attitude,” his sister, Kelsay Hathway, wrote on GoFundMe. He was the father of two girls, with a third on the way, and is survived by his wife, Brenda.
“Brenda, the girls, his family and friends meant the world to him and his loss will be felt among the communities that he was apart of and grew up in,” Hathaway wrote.
The fundraiser has so far brought in more than $142,000 for Hathaway’s family.
Peyton Brewer-Ross

He graduated from the Maine Maritime Academy and was in the pipefitters union, having graduated from a “rigorous” apprenticeship program in 2022, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers said in a statement, adding, “His love of cornhole, wrestling, and comic book heroes made him a colorful character to be around.”
Michael Deslauriers II
Deslauriers, 51, was killed alongside his “dearest friend” Jason Walker while bowling with their wives and children, his father Michael Deslauriers Sr. said in a Facebook post on the Sabattus Historical Society page that he runs.
Walker volunteered with the group, as well. “They made sure their wives and several young children were under cover then they charged the shooter,” he wrote.
Jason Walker
Walker, 57, was bowling with Deslauriers and their families.
“Jason did some amazing work, with Mike’s dad for the Sabattus Historical Society by capturing the personal stories of senior citizens in our community,” the society wrote in another post. “He freely volunteered his time and expertise to our society to capture the history of our town.”
