Manchester City to face Arsenal or Oxford in FA Cup fourth round, United to host Reading

Manchester City will face Arsenal or Oxford United in the fourth round of the FA Cup, while Manchester United will take on Reading.

City beat Chelsea meet on Sunday afternoon, while the second part of the future tie will be settled after Arsenal visit Oxford on Monday night.

Manchester United have already qualified for the fourth round after they defeated Everton 3-1 on Friday evening, in a tie that has led to a Football Association investigation into alleged homophobic chanting aimed towards Everton boss Frank Lampard by United fans.

Reading beat Watford in their match, and the fourth-round game represents a chance for Paul Ince to return to Old Trafford. Ince was a member of the United team to win their first Premier League title and played 281 times for the club between 1989-95.

Non-league side Wrexham, owned by celebrities Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, defeated Coventry 4-3 on Saturday in a dramatic victory, and they will face Sheffield United.

Of the remaining Premier League teams, Tottenham visit Preston North End, Southampton host Blackpool, West Ham are drawn away to Derby County, Walsall host Leicester City, and Fulham host Sunderland.

Liverpool and Wolves must settle their replay to earn the right to play away at Brighton following the controversial disallowed goal by Wolves’ Tote Gomes, and Leeds must defeat Cardiff to face one of Boreham Wood or Accrington Stanley. Stevenage will travel to Stoke City after beating Aston Villa.

All ties will be held between January 27-30.
