City in a hurry to sign Gvardiol
City have reportedly been pursuing the Croatian defender for months and, according to the report, “talks have ramped up” as City seek to secure Pep Guardiola’s “No 1 defensive target”.

Saints reject Liverpool’s second offer for Lavia
The Reds have had a bid in the region of £41 million turned down for the midfielder, who has also attracted the interest of Manchester United.
