Mark Cavendish was among the riders who went down in a big crash during the Giro d’Italia stage 2 finale in San Salvo. The bunch were gearing up for the sprint finish when riders began tumbling down the right-hand side. Pink jersey Remco Evenepoel and Jumbo Visma’s Primoz Roglic came through the crash unscathed.
