Martha Stewart loves being a ‘bona fide sex symbol’ at 81: ‘Fantastic’

Martha Stewart revealed that she knows she’s a sex symbol at age 81 — and she loves it.

She admitted that it’s a “fantastic feeling” knowing that she is regarded as a “bona fide sex symbol” while speaking to InStyle this week about how she maintains her fountain of youth.

“It’s a good example for others, actually,” Stewart told the outlet. “I’m a teacher. I’m trying to teach others that you can look great. There’s no reason to slump around.”

She also divulged more about the diets and workout routines that have kept her in shape after all of these years.

“I have all organic food. I don’t diet necessarily, but I watch what I eat,” she said.

“I do Pilates three times a week with an instructor. I have a massage. I go to a chiropractor,” the homemaking mogul continued. “These are all things I just do to keep feeling good.”

Over the past few years, Stewart has become a pop culture icon and inspiration to many as she frequently shows off her beauty in Instagram snaps that others have dubbed “thirst traps.”

The famous picture that started it all was posted in July 2020, when she took to the social media platform to show off a smoldering selfie from her pool in East Hampton.

In the picture, she donned a spaghetti-strapped navy blue swimsuit, lilac-colored eye shadow and shimmering pink lipstick.

Last month, she also took to her Instagram page to share another handful of selfies, this time “smizing” into the camera after a fresh haircut and blow dry.

In the first slide, she was seen pursing her lips into a kissy face while giving a smoldering look into the mirror.

The second snap showed her sitting in the chair of celebrity hairstylist John Barrett, giving the camera an alluring gaze while he fluffed up her freshly-styled mane.

And, in case it wasn’t clear enough, age really is just a number to the CBD entrepreneur.

While speaking with Maria Shriver and Sounds True for a conversation called “Radically Reframing Aging: Today’s Groundbreakers on Age, Health, Purpose & Joy” last year, she revealed that she wasn’t “afraid” of getting older.

“I’m not afraid,” Stewart said at the time while they talked about aging and the thought of her potentially losing her memory one day.

“I don’t really feel like I’ve lost too much of the knowledge that I’ve gained over the years … I might forget somebody’s name, but that’s just natural,” she continued.

Age is just a number for the selfie queen when it comes to her celebrity crushes, too — in January, she gushed over her love for Brad Pitt in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight.”

She said she would be thrilled to have him on her podcast one day, too.

“I think he’s aging beautifully,” she said about the actor at the time.

“Sorry, Brad, you’re still young but you are getting older.”
