Matthew McConaughey voices Elvis on Netflix — but sounds like his surfer dude self

It’s not all right, all right, all right.

While “Elvis” star Austin Butler chases down an Oscar for portraying the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll in the flesh, Netflix announced Monday that Matthew McConaughey will voice the hip-swiveling legend in a brand-new animated spy series, “Agent Elvis.”

“Elvis Presley always dreamed of being a superhero — now, Priscilla Presley is making his dream a reality,” tweeted the streaming giant of the project, which is helmed by rock icon John Eddie and Elvis’ ex-wife.

Unfortunately, McConaughey received mixed reactions for the role, as the “Dallas Buyers Club” star sounds nothing like the icon and more like, well, his usual surfer dude self.

Initially announced in 2019, the show follows Elvis, who is known for his killer dance moves during the day but at night becomes an American super spy with a trigger-happy sidekick.

“Archer” writer Mike Arnold serves as showrunner and writer.

Initially announced by Netflix in 2019, the show follows Elvis as a US agent. The character is pictured above with an animated President Richard Nixon, whom the real-life Elvis actually met in the White House in 1970.

“THE VOICE,” tweeted one bemused user who objected to McConaughey’s casting and also sent a gif of a confused-looking child.

“I like the concept but the voice acting … ain’t it,” said another.

“As a lifelong Elvis fan all I have to say is this,” one fan tweeted, sharing their sentiment via a vomiting emoji.

Netflix also released a trailer with the announcement which received mixed reactions on Twitter due to the fact the "Dallas Buyers Club" star sounds nothing like the icon.

The Post has reached out to McConaughey for comment.

Other users slammed Netflix for releasing the show so close to the death of Elvis’ daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who died on Jan. 12.

“I’m sure this has been in the works for some time but Jesus Crimbo could you put the brakes on this for a few months out of respect for Lisa Marie’s family,” slammed one user.

“Agent Elvis” is set to rock its way onto Netflix sometime next month, with a premiere date still to be announced.
