Meghan, Harry hobnob with Oprah, Kevin Costner at glitzy Santa Barbara fundraiser
From actual royalty to Hollywood royalty.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took center stage at the star-studded One805 Live! charity event in Santa Barbara on Friday.
The couple — who have just returned from the Invictus Games in Germany — appeared in their element as they hobnobbed with fellow guests Oprah Winfrey and Ellen Degeneres at the event, held at Kevin Costner’s $26 million estate.
Other VIP guests included the parents of Katy Perry, as well as Maroon 5, who treated guests to a live performance.
General admission tickets for One805 Live! cost $350, while a table of “last chance tickets” was advertised for $12,000. The event raises funds for First Responder agencies in Santa Barbara County.
Harry, 39, kept things casual in a black shirt and blazer, while Markle, 42, covered up in a stylish monochrome coat. She wore her hair back in a tight bun and was seen flashing her $20,000 Cartier Tank watch, which previously belonged to Princess Diana.
Harry and Markle were also seen on stage at the event, speaking with Costner before he took to the microphone to address attendees.
‘Good afternoon, everyone,” the “Yellowstone” star stated. “I get asked a lot by my friends who have no manners … “Kev, what’s this place cost, what’s it worth?” I can just simply tell you on a day like today, it’s worth every penny.”
Costner has recently been embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with estranged wife, Christina Baumgartner.
Earlier this week, the star settled the contentious court case with his ex, agreeing to pay more money than was initially stated in the prenup.
Costner didn’t reference his highly-publicized divorce, instead praising Santa Barbara County’s First Responders.
Harry and Markle reside in Montecito, one of the most upmarket areas of Santa Barbara County, so it was perhaps no surprise to see the couple turn out to support the fundraiser for their local community.
However, the pair are purportedly plotting a move further south, eyeing an $8 million mansion in Malibu.
In addition to their recent appearance at the Invictus Games, Harry and Markle have been making more frequent public appearances over the past month.
The pair were spotted in attendance at Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” Tour concert in Los Angeles on Sept. 1.
