Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have an uneven dynamic
The Sussexes are California dreamin’.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “really happy together,” People Magazine reports, even as their careers face setbacks and rumors swirl about Harry missing England and the couple having marital troubles.
A family insider told the outlet, “Harry seems to be embracing this lifestyle he has with Meghan and knows it’s a very different one than he had before, of course.”
Not surprisingly, the source notes that Meghan runs the show.
“[She] does seem to run the household and make the decisions,” they said.
But, they claim that doesn’t mean Harry is an unhappy pushover.
“It’s not that he bends for her. It’s just a dynamic that works for them, and maybe one that he needs after everything he’s been through,” the said.
The Duchess of the Household — who just turned 42 — and her Prince Harry are currently living in a $14.65 million estate in Montecito, California.
It’s been over three years since they gave up royal duties and left England.
It’s been rumored that they may soon be leaving sleepy Montecito and moving to Malibu, which is livelier and closer to Los Angeles.
A royal insider via People Magazine suggests that “there wasn’t a five-year plan” for what would come next, with the couple instead prioritizing their mental health and their burgeoning family.
The “goal” for the little royals, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, is to “have a normal life as much as possible,” another source says.
Career-wise, the couple has had a rough go of it after their Spotify deal ended and their $100 million Netflix deal has underwhelmed.
A Hollywood insider speaking to People suggested that Meghan’s recent deal with William Morris Endeavor, an entertainment behemoth, should be able to connect the couple with creatives who can help them revitalize their Hollywood careers.
“They can actually put them in touch with actual filmmakers and creative people and producers,” the insider said, “and people who actually know how to make a TV show or film.”
