Meghan Markle ‘bitter’ about failure to ‘create woke royal family’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are “trying to create an alternative, woke royal family,” according to self-proclaimed royal expert Angela Levin.

Levin — a noted Prince Harry and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall biographer — claims the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are enveloping themselves in “grandeur and pomp that surrounds them” after the royals announced an upcoming trip to the UK.

The pair are scheduled to visit Harry’s home soil and Germany for three charity events next month, their spokesperson told Page Six earlier this week.

Harry, 37, and Markle, 41, last visited the UK in June to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations with their two kids: Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.

However, their upcoming trip seems to have raised the eyebrows of many, in particular Levin, who noted the “odd time” of their visit.

“Harry and Meghan coming to UK for ‘charities close to their hearts.’ Will the Queen be in Balmoral, and William in USA for Earthshot? Is this part of an attempt at an alternative Royal Family?” Levin tweeted Monday. “Odd time otherwise before H’s ‘bombshell’ memoir.“

Levin claimed Meghan “doesn’t like losing” and “feels enormous bitterness and resentment towards the Royal Family for not letting her modernize the Royal Family.”

‘[Meghan] doesn’t like losing [and] feels enormous bitterness and resentment towards the royal family for not letting her modernize.’

Angela Levin, who reportedly spent a year with Harry while writing his biography.

“Surely if anyone is scared for their safety, they should keep what they are doing and where secret. Otherwise it’s more hypocrisy,” she wrote in a follow-up tweet.

Elsewhere, Levin told Daily Mail she thinks the Sussexes are “very determined to show that their way is the best way.”

“I’ve thought for a long time that Harry and Meghan are trying to create an alternative woke royal family, the grandeur and the pomp and circumstance that surrounds them,” she said.

“They are people who are very determined to show that their way is the best way.”

The author noted that while the Sussexes don’t want to be royals, “they’re hanging on to their titles very, very tightly.”

Following their move to California, Harry and Markle had only returned to London a handful of times due to security concerns — and each time without their children.

The Sussexes secretly visited the Queen in April, making a stop in the UK while en route to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games. It was the first time the “Suits” alum returned to the UK since Megxit.

Up next: Prince Harry’s upcoming $20 million memoir might just give the royals plenty to freak out about when published in the fall of 2022, despite reports it has been pushed back. One NY publishing source hyped: “It’s juicy, that’s for sure.”

Another publishing insider told Page Six: “There’s a lot of new stories in there about the past that Harry has not spoken about before, about his childhood … there is some content in there that should make his family nervous.”
