Meghan Markle flashes big smile in LA as Prince Harry returns from seeing cancer-stricken dad King Charles

Meghan Markle was all smiles on Wednesday while spotted driving in the same neighborhood as the nine-bedroom, $14.65 million mansion in Montecito she has shared with Prince Harry since 2020.

It was the first time the Duchess of Sussex was spotted since the redhwaded royal jetted off to London alone to visit his cancer-stricken father, King Charles.

Markle, 42, seemed in good spirits driving her black Range Rover while wearing casual garb, including a cream-colored baseball cap and dark sunglasses. She also held a white mug, which she took sips from time to time.

The photos were taken just hours before the Duke of Sussex, 39, returned home from his whirlwind trip in London.

King Charles’ former butler Grant Harrold exclusively told The Post Tuesday that Harry is undoubtedly feeling “worried” about his father’s ailing health, and his whirlwind trip to London is his way of “showing support.”

The exiled royal touched down in London just after 2 p.m. local time Tuesday before visiting his majesty, 75, and Queen Camilla, 76, for a brief 45 minutes.

He then returned to the London hotel where he was reportedly staying.

Despite having countless royal residences at his fingertips, the Duke of Sussex opted to stay at a luxury London hotel that’s open to the public, the Daily Mail reported.

The father of two no longer has a royal residence in his name in the UK, after he and his wife, Meghan Markle, were forced to hand over the keys to Frogmore Cottage last year.

Harry was all smiles and had a cheery disposition as he returned to London’s Heathrow Airport on Wednesday afternoon after he was escorted to Clarence House in a convoy from the same airport yesterday.

He was dressed casually in a pair of dark-wash jeans, a gray t-shirt and a blue jacket.

Harry was then photographed exiting a commercial Delta flight at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday evening, poised to reunite with Markle and his two children, Archie and Lilibet.

While in London, Harry did not reunite with his estranged brother and heir to the throne Prince William.

“William has shown today that he has disowned Harry, he doesn’t want to know him, and he probably doesn’t even like him anymore. Harry is just not part of his life,” royal expert Jennie Bond told The DailyMail.

“That rift is so deep now, and that has been shown by Harry being here and them not meeting, so deep that I really do wonder if it can ever, ever be mended,” she added.

“It’s his father. She’s aware of the close relationship and probably encouraged him to come over,” he added.

Buckingham Palace announced on Monday morning that the reigning Monarch, had been diagnosed with cancer.

“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted,” the palace said in a statement. “Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”

“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties,” the palace added. “Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.”
