Messi reveals he came close to joining Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia after leaving PSG
“Lionel Messi has revealed he thought about joining Cristiano Ronaldo in moving to Saudi Arabia last summer. The 36-year old admits there were plenty of options on the table for him when he given a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain. One of those was to sign up for a Saudi Pro League side, but he eventually decided to move to the MLS with Inter Miami.”
