Millie Bobby Brown is ready for ‘Stranger Things’ to end: ‘Goodbye’

Millie Bobby Brown is ready to leave Hawkins, Indiana.

The 19-year-old actress compared her Netflix smash hit “Stranger Things” to high school in a new Glamour cover story.

“When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here,’” she said of the series, which is indeed coming to an end, but not until 2025 at the earliest.

“’Stranger Things’ takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye,’” she added.

Brown, who is engaged to Jon Bon Jovi’s son, Jacob Bongiovi, 21, was only 11 when she gained worldwide fame on the first season of “Stranger Things” in 2016.

The Florence by Mills founder noted she is grateful to the show for giving her “the tools and the resources to be a better actor,” and friends for life.

“When it ends, I’m going to be able to still see these people,” she bluntly pointed out.

Looking onto the near future, Brown gushed about working opposite Chris Pratt in the post-apocalyptic adventure film “The Electric State.”

“To be able to go toe-to-toe with Chris Pratt, it’s a very exciting opportunity that I never thought I’d be able to have, to be able to be treated the same as him and to be looked at and respected the same as him on the set by the production, by the studio,” she said.

Brown shared the same sentiment about leaving “Stranger Things” behind when she spoke with Women’s Wear Daily in August.

“I think I’m ready. It’s been such a huge factor in part of my life, but it’s like graduating high school, it’s like senior year,” she told the outlet at the time. “You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life.”

“Stranger Things” also stars Winona Rider, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Priah Ferguson, Maya Hawke and Brett Gelman.

On Sept. 27, the “Stranger Things” writers confirmed they resumed production on Season 5 following the end of the Writers Guild of America strike.
