Model’s baby names are ‘a little out there’ — haters wonder if it’s a joke
The Pear-fect name doesn’t exis-.
Pregnant model and social media influencer Nara Smith (previously Pellman) went viral last month when she filmed a TikTok revealing some of the extremely unique baby names on her list.
Smith, 22, shared that she’s interested in Odie, Pepper, Dawn, or Pear as first names for girls.
“They’re all really cute to me,” she explained.
She also “really likes” Cherry as a middle name but hasn’t won her husband, model Lucky Blue Smith, over with that one.
However, the couple seems to have agreed on Bubble as a second name — though Nara knows it’ll be “controversial.”
For boy names, Nara loves Frosty but is also considering Sunny, Silver and Zen.
“So these might be a little out there,” Nara admitted in her December TikTok before explaining that her family already has some unusual names.
Nara, who was born in South Africa before moving to Germany when she was 3 months old, and Lucky Blue, 25, started dating in 2019.
Lucky Blue began his career by appearing in Vogue Hommes Japan at the age of 12, and he has since worked with major labels including Calvin Klein and Tom Ford.
Nara is signed to IMG, one of the biggest modeling agencies in the world.
The couple married in 2020.
Nara gave birth to their first child together, a daughter named Rumble Honey, in October 2020.
A son named Slim Easy followed in January 2022.
The couple announced in December that Nara is pregnant again.
Before his children with Nara, Lucky Blue welcomed his first child, a girl named Gravity, with model Stormi Bree.
His sisters’ names are Starlie, Daisy Clementine and Pyper America.
So, Nara and Lucky Blue aren’t interested in common names for their children.
Honestly, Jane or John would be out of place on this family tree.
TikTok viewers, however, are not too impressed with Nara’s baby name wish list.
“This is a joke right?” one person replied.
“Sounds like my Webkinz names,” another commented.
“If it’s twins do Apple bottom jeans and Boots witha fur,” someone else joked.
